At The Grange Primary School we put the children at the centre of all that we do from the moment they start in Nursery the term after they are three until they leave us at the end of Year 6. We are part of the Marches Academy Trust, and believe in ‘achievement through caring’ and by providing the pupils with a nurturing and vibrant learning environment the children will achieve their potential. We are an inclusive school that aims to meet the needs of all of our pupils. We are a very happy, friendly school, with lots of activities to make school and learning enjoyable for our pupils. We explore the environment and take part in a range of extra-curricular activities to give our pupils the best opportunity to learn and succeed. We provide a breakfast and after school club to assist parents and carers with child care. They provide an opportunity for our pupils to socialise outside of the classroom with their friends. We provide a range of activities including crafts, baking and sports. Breakfast club is available everyday Monday to Friday, 7:45am until 9:00am. £2.00 (this includes breakfast if required) or £1 for those in receipt of free school meals. In our Tadpole Class, children are looked after by a very experienced team under the direction of our Nursery Teacher. Children learn through a play-based curriculum with exciting yet familiar topics alongside building good foundations in early literacy and number in daily adult led sessions. Our Nursery is fully integrated into the school, children take part in regular play sessions with the Reception class and teacher, make weekly visits to our Forest area, attend assemblies and take part in school events and trips.
