The Educational Psychology Service (EPS) provides psychological advice to the local authority as part of the Education, Health and Care Planning process to inform decision making around placement and provision. In addition to our LA work we provide a traded service to schools. What they do:Advice for Looked After Children as part of the LAC Education & Health Team.Advice as part of the Child Development Centre multidisciplinary assessment for children aged 0-5 with complex needs.Critical Incident and Bereavement Response Support to schools following the sudden death of a staff member or pupil. In some cases this may include associated specialist case work.Advice and support to the LA for young people aged between 16-25 including assistance with capacity assessments.Therapeutic support to specialist settings including specialist advice on Autism or young people experiencing high levels of anxiety.
