The Compassionate Friends is a national peer support charity for bereaved parents, grandparents and adult bereaved siblings (aged 18+), offering support after the death of a child, from one month old up to an adult child, and from any cause. The support offered is facilitated by bereaved parent or adult sibling volunteers.Their national helpline is open as often as possible, every day from 10am to 4pm and 7pm to 10pm. In addition, they have local in-person support groups, one-to-one local support contacts and local supportive walks, as well as occasional support days, and supportive weekends and retreats.
