Llanfyllin Workhouse is a Grade II* listed Victorian workhouse set in the Cain Valley. The historic building, known locally as Y Dolydd, houses: the Workhouse History Centre, open daily free of charge; workshops and studios, which are available to hire; a 24-bed bunkhouse; a gallery, venue and cafe-bar; along with a car park, garden, four courtyards and six acres of pasture land. Y Dolydd also offers facilities for educational visits, functions, courses, conferences or weddings. The Workhouse is owned by the Llanfyllin Dolydd Building Preservation Trust.
