Cleobury Mortimer Men’s Shed (CMMS) offers a friendly and welcoming community space in their woodworking shed, where members can learn from each other, either by working on their own projects, or helping with community-related projects. CMMS is a registered charity, and their Shed was opened on 2 July 2022 by Selena Graham, the High Sheriff of Shropshire, and Rev’d Ashley Buck. The Shed is open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12noon to 4pm, and the group also meets at the Community Hub (old Methodist Church) on Fridays, between 2.30pm and 4pm, for a brew and a chat. There is an insulated container to store materials, and a mobile home for chatting and drinking tea. The charity aims to just cover their costs with a nominal membership of £5 per month. They welcome new members, and are open to new ideas, to help meet all memberss needs.
