Otters and Rainbows Childminding provides home from home childcare. I am an ERF (extended rear facing) childminder, I have done years of research into car seat safety and provide my own rear facing seats. I am highly SEN (special educational needs) qualified and trained with a varied amount of experience supporting children with different needs. I have supported an early years child with complex needs in my care to get an EHCP. I Support all children to make good progress, they settle in so well in my home from home setting. I am able to meet dietary requirements and understand the importance of these with having my own allergies, and still include children in learning and play whilst catering for their allergies. I have excellent child development knowledge and know how to support children effectively in all areas. I love to teach children, have fun on outings as well as the caring side of childminding. Local offer: I am able to support a variety of needs in different ways using; objects of reference, now and next boards, visual choices boards, attention and listening activities, differentiating activities to suit the needs of the child, I use attention buckets, use social stories, I have a sensory area for children to use, spinning resources for children to regulate on and I support parents and carers. I speak to parents about how I can support them and their child and we work together.
