Oswestry School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for pupils between the ages of 4 and 18. Bellan House provides education to children 4 – 11, senior school 11 – 16 years old and the sixth form 16- 18 years old. The school is set in 50 acres of its own grounds and boasts some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain on its doorstep. The academic programme is well tailored to the aptitude of their pupils, and in these critical years pupils are grouped by ability in some subjects, enabling them to progress at the most appropriate pace. Before entering Upper School, pupils make the subject choices for their two-year GCSE course.
