SOBS exists to support those impacted by suicide and break the feelings of isolation. Many of the volunteers have themselves been bereaved by suicide and this shared experience is key to supporting those who need it most. The National Helpline is run by a team of volunteers. If you are unable to speak to someone, please leave a message and someone will return your call. For more information, please follow the link to visit the website. SOBS bereaveMENt group is a peer support group for men who may feel more comfortable speaking to other men about their loss to suicide. Virtual bereaveMENt meetings are held online on the second Tuesday of each month, and last for around 90 minutes. There is no set structure to sessions, so people are free to talk or listen as they wish, and all men over the age of 18, who have been impacted by suicide loss, are welcome to join in.
