Pontesbury Cricket Club have three senior teams competing in the Henshalls Shropshire County Cricket League and one Evening league team competing in the Shrewsbury and District Evening League. Pontesbury CC are an ECB Clubmark accredited with a thriving junior section the ‘ Pontesbury Pirates’. The Pirates caters for boys and girls from 5 years of age with regular coaching throughout the summer on Monday evenings from our ECB qualified coaches. The Pirates compete in the Shropshire County Cricket League junior competitions at U11 / U13 / U15. Pontesbury CC also have an active womens section, which offers softball cricket to all ages and abilities. They compete in the Shropshire Cricket Board league during the summer as well as offering softball festival opportunities to those who are new to the game.
