During the summer months, Llanymynech Canal Wharf (Glanfa Llanymynech) is open each Saturday and Sunday afternoon (as well as Bank Holiday Mondays & Fridays), offering wheelchair accessible narrowboat trips on the Montgomery Canal at Llanymynech, south of Oswestry. It features informative exhibitions in the old stable block as well as 30 minute canal trips that take in a short section of the Montgomery Canal between England and Wales. Private hire is also available for up to 12 passengers.
