The Bridgnorth Lions Walk & Marathon is an annual event held usually on Whit Bank Holiday Monday. The Senior Walk covers a route of 22 miles from Bridgnorth to the top of the Brown Clee and back. The Marathon covers the same route with the addition of a lap around Brown Clee to make the distance up to 26 miles. Bridgnorth Lions have introduced in 2022 a Metric Walk & Marathon – 26 kms (16 miles) for those who want to compete but on a slightly easier course. There is also a Junior and Family Walk, seven and five miles respectively from Ditton Priors on to the Brown Clee and back. For more information, please follow the link to their website.
