Craven Arms Ladies Group is for women of all ages from the town and the nearby villages. The Group usually meets at the Lambeth Rooms (opposite the entrance to the Discovery Centre), at 7.30pm on the third Wednesday of each month. The Group arranges talks and demonstrations by guest speakers and also go out on visits, or try out a game such as bowling or golf in the summer. There is a small subscription fee of £7 per year, and the costs for attending meetings is £2, or £3 when there is a speaker. A local charity is chosen to benefit from surplus money every two years.
