Options Trent Acres are an independent specialist school offering places to pupils aged 5-19 who have complex needs including Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) related conditions, trauma, attachment and anxiety. Based in rural Staffordshire, they support learning in small groups with a high staff ratio to ensure that pupils individual needs are met. Options Trent Acres provides a highly structured and supportive environment which supports children to manage their behaviour and develop personal care, social interaction and independence skills. The service is able to educate children with complex needs, autism and associated learning disabilities, this is achieved through an integrated care model incorporating the skills and expertise within their education and clinical teams. Small group teaching in classrooms designed specifically for young people with autism and complex needs.
