The Shropshire Deaf Children’s Society (SDCS) is a countywide (Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin areas) voluntary support group for parents, friends and professionals caring for hearing-impaired children. They help by supporting children and young people with hearing impairment, for example, by providing specialist equipment to improve listening in classrooms and homes. They also organise a range of social activities and talks throughout the year to support parents and carers, as well as providing information and details of helpful contacts.
