Shrewsbury Town in the Community deliver sport and activity sessions for young people with disabilities or additional needs. The session will include a 60-minute sport and activity group alongside an adapted version of their volunteer academy programme. The volunteer programme aims to offer an introduction to various roles available at Shrewsbury Town in the Community. The programme consists of three milestones: 25 hours, 50 hours and 100 hours. At each milestone, the volunteer will have the opportunity to gain a certificate or?attend in-house CPD (Continued Professional Development) workshops which will be linked to the volunteering being undertaken. On weekends where there is a Shrewsbury Town match all those attending the workshops will be provided with tickets to the days game for themselves and a parent/carer.
