A practical two-day Outdoor First Aid course suitable for those working or leading activities outdoors. Delivered in Shropshire, this qualification meets the first aid requirements for many National Governing Bodies. The course is awarded by First Aid Awards Ltd (FAA) and provides a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification. Over 16 hours of training, participants cover essential first aid skills for outdoor and remote environments, including: Primary survey and casualty assessment CPR and use of an AED Managing bleeding, shock and fractures Head, spinal and limb injuries Environmental conditions (hypothermia, heat illness, dehydration) Asthma, anaphylaxis and medical emergencies Incident management in remote settings The course is suitable for outdoor instructors, forest school leaders, Duke of Edinburgh leaders, youth workers and anyone responsible for groups in outdoor environments.
