The Lullaby Trust raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies and offers confidential emotional support for bereaved families affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young toddler. This is available immediately or at any later time. This support is for family, friends, carers and professionals. If you would like the opportunity to talk freely, for as long as required, with a sympathetic and understanding listener you can call their bereavement support helpline on 0808 802 6868 or email support@lullabytrust.org.uk. The Lullaby Trust also set up the Little Lullaby, a dedicated young parent project which wants to stop all unexpected deaths of babies and toddlers born to young parents by making them feel better informed, more confident and less isolated through pregnancy, birth and beyond. The Lullaby Trust have a Baby Check app that can help parents or carers decide how ill their baby is. Just answer some simple questions about your baby’s symptoms and the app then lets you know whether their baby needs to see a doctor or health professional.
