The Shropshire Family History Society encourages people to study genealogy and history with particular emphasis on research into the genealogy of Shropshire families. Meetings generally take place via Zoom on the third Tuesday evening of each month, except July and August. The Society has a worldwide membership, and these Zoom meetings allow members across the world to join in, to hear and discuss the varied aspects of family history. The Society also hold occasional in-person meetings and events, usually in The Old Chapel Community Centre, at Cross Houses, and new members are always most welcome. Shropshire Family History Society is a registered charity, and a member of the Federation of Family History Societies.
