Creative Mindfulness is community interest company offering mindfulness sessions which can help build emotional resilience and increase self-awareness, to help reduce anxiety and help with depression. The sessions and programmes offered include some creative activities, as self-care through art can be extremely beneficial, but you don’t need to have any artistic talent to take part in these, as the focus is on the process not the result. Both 2-hour taster sessions providing an introduction to mindfulness practice, and 8-week programmes which aim to fully develop mindfulness practice, are available, facilitated by a practitioner registered with the Mindfulness Teachers Association.
