The National Centre for Domestic Violence are a charity that specialises in providing legal assistance to obtain injunctions to protect you from being further abused. Domestic abuse is common in the UK and anyone can be a victim, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, socio-economic status, sexuality or background. The service provides a free, fast emergency injunctions for survivors of domestic violence regardless of their financial circumstances, race, gender or sexual orientation. The free service allows anyone who has recently suffered or been threatened with domestic violence to apply for an emergency court injunction. The national centre for domestic violence work in close partnership with the police, solicitors, and other support agencies such as Refuge and Woman’s Aid to help victim’s obtain speedy protection.
