Joules Market Drayton Bowling Club is a friendly local club offering both social and competitive bowls. The Club first played on the existing site in 1890, but can be traced back as far as the early 1800s, making it one of the oldest clubs in Shropshire. . There are two senior teams (over 60s), one playing in the Whitchurch League and one in the Market Drayton League. There are also four evening teams, two in the Market Drayton League, playing on Mondays and Fridays, and two in the Whitchurch League, currently playing Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Club is open to all age groups, from 5 years to 80 plus, and new members are always most welcome, from beginners to experienced, with families particularly welcomed.
