VICTA supports children and young adults from 0 to 29 years who are blind or partially sighted and their families across the UK. VICTA’s activities and services help young people with sight loss realise their potential, foster friendships and develop life skills. They provide support to families from their child’s diagnosis, through the educational years, into independence in adulthood. Activities and services available include: Parent support workshops and online Parent Network Family days and weekends Early Years Sensory Discovery Packs for 0 to 4 years VICTA Young Achievers Award for 10 and unders Residential youth activities to develop life skills for 10 to 17 years Summer Camp for 14 to 17s Young Ambassador, employability and volunteering opportunities for 18 to 29s Earn national awards including Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Introductions to sport International expeditions.
