Mobilise is a free online carers’ service offering support whether you are looking after a vulnerable family member or friend with a disability, addiction, or long-term mental or physical illness. Their website provides a range of help from simple online tools to make sure you are not missing out on financial assistance you (and the person you care for) might be eligible for, to a library of guides co-written with carers in their community. With over 60,000 unpaid carers in the Mobilise Community, it is a place where carers can share their wisdom, challenges, and tips with one another – making life brighter for others in similar positions. Mobilise offers help via a range of things such as: ability to connect with other unpaid carers in the Mobilise Hub; free 30-minute individual support calls with their friendly Carer Support Team; free emergency plans; toolkits and eligibility checkers on financial support for carers; a library of carer guides, covering subjects from the warning signs to carer burnout to discounts for carers.
