Radfield Dementia Cafe offers a warm and friendly welcome for anyone living with dementia or anyone caring for someone with dementia, and provides an opportunity to meet others in a similar situation in a relaxed and social setting. Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry have linked up with Greenacres Community Centre to provide dementia-friendly coffee mornings. These Dementia Cafes include social activities, such as bingo, board games, boccia, quizzes, and an informative talk from a health care professional. Trained and qualified staff and volunteers will be on hand to provide information and support. Radfield Dementia Café sessions take place at Greenacres Community Centre every Tuesday, from 10am to 12noon. There is a small charge of £3 per person, and a range of refreshments will be available. Pre-booking is not required, and existing clients and newcomers are most welcome.
