Radfield Dementia Cafe offers a warm and friendly welcome for anyone living with dementia or anyone caring for someone with dementia, and provides an opportunity to meet others in a similar situation in a relaxed and social setting. Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry have linked up with Shrewsbury Town Football Club to provide dementia-friendly coffee mornings. These Dementia Cafes include social activities, such as bingo, board games, boccia, quizzes, and an informative talk from a health care professional. Trained and qualified staff and volunteers will be on hand to provide information and support. Radfield Dementia Cafe sessions take place at Smithy’s Bar at Shrewsbury Town Football Club every Tuesday, from 11am to 1pm. There is a small charge of £3 per person, and a range of refreshments will be available. Pre-booking is not required, and existing clients and newcomers are most welcome.
