The Heinz, Anna and Carol Kroch Foundation provides grants to help people on a very low income who also have medical problems, who have recently experienced domestic violence or are homeless. Applications must be submitted by a recognised agency who is working with the client. The charity does not accept self referrals. We are a small charity but with a national presence providing grants for a wide range of requests e.g. basic necessities, furniture, household items, flooring, disability equipment, white goods, repairs, travelling to hospital and respite care for the disabled. No grants are provided for education or holidays. Applications must be made in writing by a recognised professional such as a social worker, doctor or Citizen Advice representative who must include the individual’s financial information.
