The Acorn Singers are a dementia-friendly community choir provided by Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin, where people with dementia are welcome to attend if accompanied by their carers. Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin’s community choirs are enthusiastic groups of singers aged 50+. The emphasis is on singing for pleasure and is underpinned by the belief that everyone has their own unique voice and that everyone can sing. This group meets at Hadley Community Centre, each Wednesday afternoon, from 1.30pm to 3.15pm, and there is a small charge of £7 per session.
