Bayston Hill Repair Cafe is supported financially by the Parish Council, with the aim of helping the environment by reusing valuable resources and avoiding unnecessary waste. They will attempt to repair any household item as their volunteer repairers have a wide range of skills available. There is no charge for a repair, but if people feel they wish to make a donation, these are always most welcome. The Repair Cafe meets at Christ Church in Bayston Hill, usually on the first Saturday of each alternate month, from 10am to 2pm. Hot drinks are provided for those who wish to wait while their items are being repaired, or people can leave their items with the Repair Cafe and then come back to collect before 2pm on the day. The current schedule for 2026 is as follows: Saturday 11 April, Saturday 06 June, Saturday 01 August, Saturday 03 October, and Saturday 05 December. Bayston Hill Repair Cafe is in their second year and have to date saved approximately 4 tonnes of Carbon.
