The Independent Network Club (INC) was set up in 2002 and has a committed core of business members. They have network meetings every two weeks on a Wednesday morning from 8am to 9.30pm, with occasional daytime and evening Charity Events. Guests are invited to attend two meetings before making a decision as to whether or not to join. At meetings all members and guests are given the opportunity to deliver a one minute snapshot of who they are, and what their business can offer to the group. In addition, one member will give a 10 minute presentation. The INC charities for 2021/22 are Hope House and the Midland Air Ambulance, and a number of fundraising events will be held, in addition to the network meetings, which will be open to all friends and family. The cost of visiting is £10 which includes a breakfast bap and fruit, plus tea, coffee and orange juice. There is a choice (when ordered in advance) of white baps or wholemeal bread with bacon, or a vegetarian option, and gluten-free rolls are also available. Members pay a monthly subscription of £25, of which £1 will go directly into the charity collection.
