Rea Valley Foodbank (Pontesbury) provides basic groceries and household essentials to people living within the Rea Valley who are in financial difficulties, and the support provided is for emergencies or ongoing needs. The Rea Valley area covers Bentlawnt, Brockton, Habberley, Hanwood, Hope, Minsterley, Pontesbury, Snailbeach, Stiperstones, Westbury, White Grit, Worthen, Yockleton, and other villages in the Rea Valley. You can contact the Foodbank yourself, on behalf of someone else, or be referred. Once agreed you can collect from the Foodbank at Holy Trinity Church, each Tuesday 10am to 12noon. It may be possible for the Foodbank to deliver to those who are housebound and have financial difficulties.
