Little Pixies is a home from home Children’s private day nursery owned and run by Sarah Felkin. Little Pixies opened in September 2011 and welcomes children from 12 weeks to pre-school. As a Mum that has used full time nursery care, I felt there was a lack of provision that matched my values and practices. My vision for Little Pixies children and families is to provide a stimulating, nurturing, supportive and aspirational early educational experience. I believe that every child and family is unique and our parent partnership puts you at the very heart of all we do. Children’s physical and mental wellbeing is paramount and we are firm believers in a nurturing approach, where a cuddle, warm smile and calm interactions help children to settle and parents to feel confident in the knowledge that they are safe, secure and happy. At Little Pixies we are passionate about outdoor learning and believe this is fundamental to a child’s health and well-being. We are lucky enough to have established our own Forest School site to enhance the outdoor opportunities we provide to our children.
