Shropshire Libraries hosts Peaceful Warrior Wellbeing Rest, Rebalance, Renew sessions offering wellbeing through spring to autumn, to ease your nervous system, support mind body connection, build resilience and skills for daily life. There sessions include Essential Nidra, restorative mindful practices integrating extensive training, neuroscience, psychology, ancient wisdom and lived experience, with space to pause and reset. Sessions are held at Oswestry Library on selected dates, and will take place in the Meeting Room, in intentionally small groups to support a personalised experience, and also providing the opportunity to practice seated, lying down, or with inclusive mindful movement. Facilitated with trauma-informed compassionate facilitation, these sessions are suitable for all: 25 April: Return to Peace 30 May: Soothe Anxiety & Stress 27 June: Ease Pain, Restore Comfort 25 July: Breathe & Rebalance 26 September: Rest & Renew 31 October: Flow & Release There is a charge of £20 per session, or £15 for concessions (NHS, Emergency Services, Military, Low Income, Seniors, Loyalty – those who attended funded workshops), plus an optional 1:1 for £40 (usually £60) for those attending all 6 sessions.
