Whitchurch u3a (University of the Third Age) is an organisation which aims to enable older people to meet together to keep minds lively and to further interests by discussion, activity and learning. There are a variety of opportunities to use their knowledge, skills and experience, regardless of previous education, and to acquire new ones, in an informal and friendly atmosphere. The Branch currently has 25 active groups covering a wide range of both educational and recreational activities, and members are encouraged to share skills with others.
