At St Mary’s, we believe that children learn best in a safe, secure and stimulating environment, where each child is valued as an individual. We offer a broad, balanced and creative curriculum which is enhanced by a wide range of additional activities. We are a one from entry school of around 200 pupils set in a rural village. We encourage children to become effective learners; able to work co-operatively and independently and having a sense of respect and responsibility towards others. Expectations are high and we are proud of the behaviour and achievements of our pupils. We aspire to develop the gifts and talents of all our children, and to equip them with skills and desire to learn and improve. We aim to recognise and provide for the needs and talents of each pupil to enable them to achieve their potential. We have 2 members of staff who are trained in child protection and 10 first aiders.
