This is a drop-in group, open for all pre-school children and their childminders, parents or other relatives who look after them. A special welcome is given to everyone and it is a good place to make new friends and to get to know other parents/carers with young children, especially if this is your first child or you are new to the area.This is a relaxed, informal group organised in a well-structured environment where our young children are given the opportunity to participate in activities covering creative, fine motor, construction, soft play, music and role play skills.We meet from 9.45 to 11.45am in term time. (The front door is locked from 10.15, but there is a bell to gain entrance.)We charge £2 per family for the morning. This includes as much tea / coffee as you need, but we ask that you bring whatever drink and / or snack you would like your child to have.We have a special area set aside for eating and drinking, (although for safety we do now use Shrewsbury mugs with lids, just in case you have to move around after a child). We have two rooms available to us: a large hall, where there is a baby corner, soft play, art table, a table with fun things using fine motor skills, ride-ons, dressing up, and a kitchen.In a smaller hall, there are jigsaws, a reading corner, play dough, a farm and building bricks.
