Flicks and the sticks film Join shropshire Hills Discovery Centre for a film and evening meal. Enjoy Song Sung Blue and a delicious lasagne from the Shropshire Hills cafe this Easter Holidays. Song Sung Blue is a musical drama based on the true story of Mike and Claire Sardina, a Milwaukee couple who formed a popular Neil Diamond tribute band called “Lightning & Thunder”. The film is inspired by the 2008 documentary of the same name and follows their journey from humble beginnings as impersonators to becoming beloved regional performers, capturing the highs and lows of their careers and relationship through significant personal challenges, showcasing themes of dreams, resilience, and finding joy in music. Beef or veggie lasagne will be available from 5.30pm, served with garlic bread and salad. Licensed bar and cinema snacks will also be available.
