Sansaw Men’s Shed is a place or workshop where older men can meet and enjoy their hobbies or learn about new ones, as well as making friends and enjoying one another’s company. The Shed is a place were men have the freedom to work with others, either on their individual project or help someone else with theirs or simply just to be there. At Men in a Shed you can: undertake some activity in the company of others be with like-minded men with whom you can work and talk participate in some joint endeavour find friendship and companionship provide help and support to themselves and others make use of workshop or other facilities make a contribution to the community have fun. A Shed is run and controlled by the men who are members of the Shed; it is the men themselves that set the atmosphere and welcome anyone who want to join, occasionally including some like-minded women.
