The Friends of the Shropshire Hills is a network which appeals to a wide range of people with a common interest in the beautiful Shropshire Hills landscape, its wildlife, heritage, culture and well-being. Designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Shropshire Hills National Landscape covers almost a quarter of the county and includes well known landmarks such as the Long Mynd, Stiperstones, Wrekin and Wenlock Edge. The purpose of the designation is to work in partnership to protect and regenerate this National Landscape for everyone to enjoy. Becoming a Friend is an easy way to support conservation in the Shropshire Hills. Subscriptions go directly into the Shropshire Hills Conservation Fund, which supports local projects aiming to conserve the Shropshire Hills landscape, its diverse wildlife and rich heritage.
