The farm welcomes those wishing to learn practical skills by working on a farm. Lower Bush Farm welcome a variety of clients including adults with learning difficulties, looked after children, PRUs, young people from local secondary schools, and children with SEND registered with Shropshire’s All in Programme during the school holidays. Service users care for the animals, work in the gardens, orchards, and veg patches and assist with various construction projects including animal housing.The farm has a huge variety of outdoor spaces to explore and learn from. These include large ponds, newly planted woodland, ancient woodland, vegetable garden, two cider orchards, fields and hedgerows.The animals are always a favourite as they give us plenty of laughs! Lower Bush Farm have pigs, chickens, horses, goats, guinea pigs, rabbits, peacocks, sheep, degus, turtles, as well as an abundance of natural wildlife.
