Stem4 is a charity that promotes positive mental health in young people and those who support them including their families and carers, education professionals, as well as school nurses and GPs. They do this through the provision of mental health education, resilience strategies and early intervention which is provided digitally through their education programme, pioneering mental health apps, clinically-informed website and mental health conferences. Stem4 have developed 4 free apps: Calm Harm – to help teens resist the urge to self harm. Clear Fear – to help children and young people with feelings of anxiety Combined minds – for family members supporting young people with their mental health Move Mood – help teenagers manage low mood and depression As well as the apps the website has a comprehensive library of free mental health resources, including leaflets, videos and guides on a range of topics from anxiety and depression to addiction.
