Newport Chess Club meet each week for both friendly and competitive matches. Sessions take place at the Royal British Legion in Newport, every Tuesday at 7.30pm, and new members of all abilities are most welcome. The Club also play away matches in Church Stretton, Oswestry, Shrewsbury, and Telford, etc, on their particular club nights if you cannot travel to Newport.
