Oswestry and District Christian Aid is a branch of the national Christian Aid organisation. Christian Aid raises money to give practical help wherever it is needed in the World. The organisation also identifies need, and campaigns for an end to poverty, and the effects of poverty on communities. Christian Aid Week takes place in May each year, when a street collection will be held.
