Taking Charge of your Life is a five-week course (one day a week), providing participants with techniques to help improve their confidence and self Esteem, meet new people, share experiences in a safe environment and to realise their true value. Every day, people are faced with difficult circumstances; they battle with, poverty, mental health, childcare responsibilities, illness, lack of confidence, social isolation and learning barriers that prevent them from engaging in employment, education or just in general. Taking Charge of Your Life brings hope to individuals to be able to look forward to the future and set achievable goals, giving them the vision to make positive changes in their lives.
