The No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) is a registered charity that provides people in acute financial need who live in Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire with no-interest loans, and in some cases grants, for essential items. The item(s) is purchased directly from local businesses on behalf of the client. NILS does not give cash sums and clients should have lived locally for at least three months, be aged over 18 (or have a guarantor), and be prepared and able to provide proof of their financial situation.
