Craven Arms Good Neighbours Scheme in South Shropshire incorporates the Voluntary Car Scheme, which takes clients from within a 6 mile radius of Craven Arms, and transports within a 40 mile radius; thus covering all major local hospitals, with the exception of Stoke-on-Trent. The scheme can help in times of need with: transport and any necessary support to hospital, doctor, dentist and other medical facility, collecting prescriptions, returning library books, help with shopping or visits to the local hairdresser, and other tasks which we may be asked to do will be considered individually. The Scheme no longer offers a befriending service. For more information or to make a request for help, please use the contact details provided. The Good Neighbours Scheme relies on volunteers and donations. If you would like to help in either way, please contact the Good Neighbours Scheme using the details provided, for further information. Please note: due to a current shortage of driver volunteers CAGN is operating a triage system which prioritises hospital and other medical journeys.
