RSBC’s Connect Parent Support Groups are to bring families of blind and partially sighted children together to learn, share experiences and tips, and make connections.Sometimes the best support you can get is from other people who are in a similar situation. It can help to talk to someone who really understands what you’re feeling, because they’ve had experiences like yours and can offer some practical advice. If there’s no one in your area who has a child with vision impairment, you may feel quite isolated at times. The expert Family Practitioners run monthly online sessions for families to come together, learn and share experiences. Each month, the focus is on a different topic, covering the milestones and challenges parents and carers might face.If joining the online sessions is a little bit too much for you, you could also join the Facebook Support group here – https://www.facebook.com/groups/RSBCconnectingparentsTo view upcoming Support Groups and to book onto sessions, please visit – https://www.rsbc.org.uk/pages/activities-and-events#SENDParentCarerSupport We're sorry but <%= htmlWebpackPlugin.options.title %> doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled.
