Oswestry and District Agricultural Society is responsible for organising the annual Oswestry Show held on the first Saturday of August. The Oswestry Show is a major agricultural and social event which includes a high number of agricultural stands, a food hall, craft and business marquees, trade stands, livestock competitions and a lively programme of entertainments. The 35 acre permanent showground is available for hire.
