The Fordhall Youth Project works with small numbers of students who may be struggling to engage in a conventional education setting.Outdoor activities have been proven to provide a valuable alternative to conventional education, offering non-competitive avenues for achievement and opportunities to develop independence and self-reliance.Using agricultural and conservation activities, we help to develop participants’ skills, confidence and self-esteem. They assist each young person to find their own direction in life, and offer support in their career progression through the provision of AQA certification. They build transferable skills through activities such as: conservation work, surveying, greenwood working, farm maintenance, growing, cooking, fencing and occasional livestock husbandry.Working with no more than two students per leader, we help these young people to develop their abilities and prepare them for life after GCSEs.For more information, please contact Rachel Wallace, Senior Youth Worker – rachel.wallace@fordhallfarm.com#AlternativeProvision We're sorry but <%= htmlWebpackPlugin.options.title %> doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled.
