Severn Valley Country Park is set in the peaceful, scenic valley of the River Severn. This Green Flag award winning park, located at two separate sites at Alveley and Highley, provides 126 acres of beautiful countryside and wonderful views which span both sides of the longest river in the country. The Park is open daily, and has a visitor centre and teashop. Visitors can explore way-marked walking routes and see rare wildlife that has been lost from the wider countryside. There is also an events programme including activities for children, outdoor theatre and seasonal self-guided trails. For more information, including visitor centre opening times and details of forthcoming events, please follow the links to visit their website and social media. https://www.facebook.com/SevernValleyCountryPark Downloadable Severn Valley Country Park leaflet. http://www.shropshiresgreatoutdoors.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/SHC04-SVCP-Map-Leaflet-RevC.pdf Information about Shropshire’s Great Outdoors. http://search3.openobjects.com/kb5/shropshire/cd/view.page?record=uns-uUYgd_Y Car parking charges are £1.20 for 2 hours or £2.30 all day.
