Oswestry Ladies Choir evolved in the summer of 2015 from Oswestry Choral Society, which had been in continuous existence for over 125 years. Dawn Jaffray has been the musical director since 2006, and has introduced the choir to a wide range of music from varying genres, including many pieces from living composers. They perform two concerts a year, usually in the spring and around Christmas. They are available for performances on request, just requiring fair warning to prepare (approximately three weeks). Please email or telephone for details. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm, at All Saints Church Hall in Gobowen. New members are very welcome to join their friendly choir.
