Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin Dementia Support Groups support local people with dementia and memory difficulties, their families, carers and friends. They provide emotional support and information in a safe and welcoming environment. You can expect a friendly welcome on arrival, and an opportunity to get to know others and share experiences in a relaxed atmosphere. They also offer you the chance to learn more about dementia and to ask questions, while they provide fun and interesting activities. The Group meets fortnightly on a Tuesday afternoon, between 2pm and 4pm, and there is a charge of £14 per couple to attend.
